Warblade, one of the updated versions of the Amiga classic Galaga, brings us back all the nostalgia of playing space shoot'em ups in the arcades. You have more than 100 levels to complete, and 75 of the levels in Warblade look identical to what you found in Galaga. Outside that, the game updated the graphics, includes more bonuses and special effects. Your goals remain the same like in other space shoot'em ups where you have to gun down the enemy ships and beat the bosses. As you progress through the levels, the game starts to amp up the challenge with enemy gunfire all over the screen and racing alien ships.

To get the most out of Warblade, however, you will first want to make sure that you have bought the right graphics card. Nevertheless, if your computer handles some of the higher end graphics games, then you will not struggle to play Warblade. Whether you love shoot'em ups or arcade games, you will bask in the glory of playing through Warblade.

This game updates and improves the old version of Galaga, which was a classic Amiga shoot'em up that takes you to the future. We can look at this game as Galaga on steroids. Every 25 levels, you will have to face a boss, and sometimes these bosses can be brutal. They provide you with a strong challenge. The biggest problem with this game, however, is how it starts to feel repetitive in the levels after a while, and it could use some more boss battles.

Outside blasting an alien kingdom into oblivion, you have numerous mini-games. For example, you could play Memory Station. This puzzle game hands you the chance to collect extra bonuses. The next one is known as Meteor Storm. Playing Meteor Storm, your chief aim will be to avoid the onslaught of incoming meteors. Along the way, you will also collect bonuses, and you will have random encounters with things like the Tax Collector and Warp Malfunction. Wargame offers up enough variety to help the game last for a long time. In the main mission of the game, you must accumulate points through bonuses and secrets. You have an online high score list where you will see the best players. That adds a certain level of competition as you fight it out for the high score.

Whether you choose two-player or single-player mode, you will have a variety of fun options. Two-player mode normally spices it up and adds even more fun to the game. Other modes you will find include dual mode and Time Trial mode. In Time Trial mode, you try to rack up as many points as humanly possible. It can actually be a lot of fun. Warblade includes a shop where you can buy all kinds of interesting weapons , bonuses and game secrets.
